Empowering Tomorrow's Automotive Software
The automotive industry is undergoing its most radical transformation in a century. As the software-defined vehicle (SDV) leads the future of mobility, modern cars are rapidly evolving into sophisticated digital platforms on wheels.
Empowering Tomorrow’s Automotive Software explores how electrification, automation, vehicle architecture, and connectivity are reshaping automotive engineering. Hosted by ETAS experts, each episode dives into the critical solutions driving modern vehicle development, including AUTOSAR, embedded cybersecurity, ECU development, virtual validation, Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), measurement and calibration, cloud-connected systems, and more.
Brought to you by the experts at ETAS, leaders in high-performance automotive software solutions and embedded device security.

At the heart of the software-defined vehicle is a computer. And a critical prerequisite for this computer is security for it, the software on it and its computing platform. That computing platform is where system-on-chip technology enters the picture, acting as the microprocessor for the vehicle ECU. In this episode, ETAS team members Collin Mundell and Omar Alshabibi talk through elements leading up to and part of system-on-chip technology within software-defined vehicles.
